Patch's 'Most Wanted' Helps Nab Fugitive with West Roxbury Connection
A Patch online story from 2011 has resulted in the apprehension of two fugitives — a man in New York and a man with West Roxbury ties — one of whom was wanted by the North Haven and Clinton police departments in Connecticut.
Two fugitives from justice, one with ties to West Roxbury, have been apprehended by police after they were identified due to a "Clinton's Most Wanted" article published in February of 2011 on the Clinton Patch in Connecticut. According to Detective Bryan Pellegrini of the Clinton Police Department, the story begins in West Roxbury, Mass., 125 miles from Clinton. Journalistically, it all started with one article that listed the names, photos and descriptions of four men, all wanted for crimes (burglary, larceny, violation of probation) by the Clinton Police Department.
