State Rep. Ed Coppinger definitely had some fun during the blizzard. How'd you pass the time?
How did you pass the time inside during the blizzard? West Roxbury's State Rep. Ed Coppinger grew some facial hair. Or was working on his cartoon-like disguises. Coppinger tweeted the attached picture, with the comment: "Letting myself go this blizzard". What kind of fun did you have during the blizzard? The blizzard is underway! The blizzard of 2013 is expected to dump one to two feet of snow on the region. Show us what it looks like on your street. Please take your camera or cellphone, stick it out a window or doorway and take a photo or a video. Then upload it to this article. You can sign in with your Patch or your Facebook account. It's easy, just click the "upload" button above and follow the directions. Be sure to include a caption for your photo that lets others know where the photo was taken. The more specific you are the better, but simply mentioning the street is fine too. Let's have some fun with this and see what we can create together. Stay warm.

Are you saving your parking spot? What are you using? Attach a photo to this article.
Editor's note: I no longer have to save a spot where I live, but one lousy winter I saved my parking spot with some old golf clubs. The snow hadn't even started falling and at least one Schirmer Road resident on West Roxbury had already saved their parking spot. Oop1961 tweeted this photo at West Roxbury Patch and said: "@WestRoxPatch looks like my neighbors are ready" You may save your parking spot for 48 hours after a storm, according to Boston parking regulations. Are you saving your parking spot with an item? Take a photo and add it to this article.

Under the plan, a median income family of 4 ($60,000/year) would pay + $91/year more based on the 1% increase in income tax and 1.75% decrease in sales tax. The expanded deduction and reduction in sales tax would make our tax system more progressive…   more ›
