O'Malley Honored with 40 Under 40 Leadership Award
The New Leaders Council awards are "a way to honor the work of young, professional leaders who have exemplified our organization’s ideal of political entrepreneurship."
In only his first term Boston City Councilor Matt O'Malley is already being recognized for his leadership abilites. The New Leaders Council named O'Malley as one of their 40 Under 40 in Political Leadership. The New Leaders Council awards are "a way to honor the work of young, professional leaders who have exemplified our organization’s ideal of political entrepreneurship." First given in 2008, the New Leaders Council hands out awards in four categories across the country. The awards recognize achievements in: Political Leadership, Media Leadership, Advocacy, and Entrepreneurship.
