Shaw's Shoplifter Gives Back $343 of Goods After Being Confronted in West Roxbury

The following article is based on a Boston Police report.

  An alleged shoplifter trying to steal a cartload of goods was able to get away from a Shaw's employee after being confronted in the parking lot in West Roxbury. On Jan. 28 around 11:40 a.m., Boston Police spoke with a loss prevention employee of Shaw's who said an unknown female was observed attempting to conceal items in the pharmacy area of the store, according to a Boston Police report. The suspect allegedly put a large number of items in a shopping cart, and then left the store without stopping at any points of sale. The total amount of items in the cart totaled $343.58. The employee said he stopped the suspect at the curb outside the store, and said, "Ma'am, you didn't pay for your items." He said the woman allegedly replied, "Oh, …

Man Banned from Macy's Liquors Nabbed for Stealing Whiskey

The suspect had been banned from the store for an alleged assault on an employee the night before. The following info is provided by the BPD and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  A West Roxbury man not allowed in Macy's Liquors returned to the store to allegedly shoplift a bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey on Sunday. On Sept. 30 around 4:51 p.m., Daniel M. Benmosche, of 113 Park St. #3, West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with larceny shoplifting of less than $50. Boston Police were called to Macy's and spoke to the manager who said the suspect, knowing his first name only, entered the store and stole a $30 bottle of Jack Daniel's Whiskey. The manager said the suspect then drove away on a bicycle, according to a police report. Roslindale Woman Charged with Shoplifting Baby Formula from Roche Bros

The suspect was brought back to Roche Bros and store security IDed her. The following info is from the Boston Police, and where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

  A Roslindale woman allegedly stole 15 cans of baby formula from Roche Bros, and tried to walk past Boston Police when approached about it after leaving the store. On Sept. 24 around 5:21 p.m., Alexandria Vega, of 342 Blue Ledge Drive, Roslindale, was arrested and charged with larceny shoplifting of more than $200.  Boston Police caught up with the suspect and a second woman near 64 Tyndale Street in Roslindale, after a description of two female suspects were provided by Roche Bros store security. Officers stopped the two women and stated they wanted to speak to them, according to a Boston Police report. One suspect was cooperative and stopped. West Roxbury Woman Arrested for Shoplifting From Shaw's Twice in Three Days

Suspect charged with shoplifting $842.12 worth of goods combined from both incidents. The following information was provided by the Boston Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

District E-5 Police arrested a West Roxbury woman twice in three days with shoplifting from Shaw's. Chloe Comins, of 216 Manthorne Road, West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with larceny shoplifting of more than $200 of goods on both Aug. 4 and 6. Around 3:15 p.m. on Aug. 4 officers spoke with the suspect who told police she did not have her wallet, any money or any identification on her, according to a police report. She allegedly tried to shoplift $508.57 worth of goods. The suspect allegedly stated she was "very hungry" and said she was manic and sometimes does "crazy" things.
