Boston has declared a snow emergency starting at 9 p.m. Saturday night. Parking on designated snow emergency arteries is banned at that time. Forecasts for the weekend storm worsened between Friday and Saturday, going from a predicted two-to-four inches of fluffy snow to six-to-eight inches of heavier stuff, according to the National Weather Service. Not sure if you're parked on a snow artery? The city website lists Jamaica Plain, Roslindale and West Roxbury arteries together.There are also alternative parking locations listed for West Roxbury residents.
