Local Students Perform in Catholic Memorial's 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead'

Catholic Memorial School’s drama club performed Tom Stoppard’s award-winning play "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" on November 17-18, with a cast that included Parkway residents Devin Williams-Agyeman, Kevin Gill, Darryl Dorsainvil, and Joe Toscano-MacDonald. Williams-Agyeman played Alfred, Gill played Claudius, and Dorsainvil and Toscano-MacDonald tragedians in the absurdist drama, one in which Stoppard pokes fun at Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The two lead characters, arguably the most insignificant in Shakespeare’s play, never leave the stage in Stoppard’s retelling, as they wonder aloud about existence, vengeance, identity and fate.
