Top It Off has had an exciting year so far. The business opened this year on Spring Street in West Roxbury for one thing! Now the womens boutique is one of 18 finalists in the City's Deck the Windows Boston Main Street Contest. To vote for Top It Off click here. Three Veterans Day events in the neighborhood, plus plenty of discounts for veterans. Thank the men and women who served, and who are currently serving our country.
West Roxbury is the place to be on Veterans Day, with several events planned for Friday. The German Centre for Extended Care will dedicate their Wall of Honor. This is a pictorial and narrative exhibit of members of the Deutsches Altenheim community who served in the Armed Forces of the US. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. and the dedication is scheduled from 10:30 to 11 a.m. A little bit down the road on Baker Street, you will have the opportunity to see American flags "retired."
