Suspect Allegedly Had Blue Residue Caked Under Nostril

  Boston Police arrested a Norwood man and charged him with possession of a percocet pill after a traffic stop in West Roxbury. On April 12 around 6:50 p.m., Garry J. Dalton, of 23 Hartford St. #1, Norwood, was arrested and charged with possession of a class B drug, a percocet, according to a Boston Police report. Drug Control Unit officers were conducting surveillance of the 4800 Washington Street block and they saw a vehicle idling on Washington Street. The officers allegedly observed Dalton exit a vehicle, enter a house while empty-handed, and after about a minute he returned to the motor vehicle. BMW Stolen While Paying for Gas at Hess in West Roxbury

  A man who went to pay for gas at the Hess Station on Washington Street in West Roxbury, looked back, and saw that his car had been stolen. The vehicle, a BMW, was later found crashed into a commercial building farther down the road. The victim said that around 10:30 p.m. on April 13 he left his 2003 BMW with the engine running at the Hess station, and went up to the service window to pay for gas, according to a Boston Police report. The man said an unknown woman asked him to open a bottle that she had just bought from inside the Hess station store. Dog-Chasing Suspect Nabbed by Police in West Roxbury

  Boston Police were able to detain a wanted West Roxbury man after allegedly seeing the suspect and another man chasing after an unleashed dog on Washington Street. On April 7, around 9:24 a.m., Kostantinos R. Kokkinides, of 4983 Washington St., West Roxbury, was arrested on warrants out of Dedham District Court for possession of a class B drug. While on patrol, officers saw the suspect with another male chasing after an unleashed pitbull, according to a Boston Police report. Officers knew the suspect had warrants out for his arrest. Call for Heroin Overdose, Leads to Randolph Man Arrested on Warrants

  Boston Police arrested a Randolph man on two active warrants out of Wrenthan District Court, after responding to the scene for a possible drug overdose. On April 5, around 12:34 p.m., Ian Scott McAvoy, of 47 Howard St., Randolph, was arrested on warrant from Wrentham District Court for possession of a class D drug issued on May 2, 2005, and a second warrant from the same court for disorderly conduct issued on May 9, 2005. Officers responded to radio call for a possible heroin overdose at Enneking Parkway and Washington Street, according to a Boston Police report. Home Depot Employee Arrested on Stealing $10K of Merchandise During Overnight Shifts

  Boston Police arrested a Roslindale man for stealing more than $10,000 worth of Home Depot merchandise while working overnight shifts. On Feb. 22, around 11 p.m., Jermaine Albert Reid, of 27 Bradeen St., Roslindale, was arrested on a warrant for larceny by stealing in a building out of West Roxbury District Court. On Feb. 7 a Boston Police detective met with a Home Depot district asset protection manager about several larcenies that have occurred the past several months by an employee during the overnight shift. A security video clearly showed the suspect removing merchandise, according to a Boston Police report, and a warrant was sought for his arrest. West Roxbury Academy Student Charged with Intent to Distribute Weed After Mom Calls School

  Boston Police arrested a juvenile male for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute after his mother called the West Roxbury Academy to say she thought her son had left home with drugs. Around 10:03 a.m. on Feb. 13, a male juvenile was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute a class D drug, and intent to distribute within a a school zone, according to a Boston Police report. The mother called the school around 7:30 a.m., and the assistant headmaster of West Roxbury Academy alerted the Boston Police officer assigned to the West Roxbury Education Complex, of a student possibly holding drugs.  With the officer present, the student was informed he would be searched. West Roxbury Couple Scammed by Fake Boston Water & Sewer Employees Out of 'Vacation Money'

  A West Roxbury couple told Boston Police that thieves posing as "Boston Water and Sewer" personnel came into their home and stole more than $1000 of cash earmarked for a future vacation. On Valentine's Day around 12:29 p.m., police met with the Corey Street couple who said they weren't sure how much was taken, but that they would put money in several envelopes from their pension checks. One envelope marked "vacation money" had more than $1000, according to a Boston Police report. The couple remembered the only people in their home recently were two men who said they worked for the Boston Water and Sewer organization. Truck with Attached Plow Stolen from Prime Honda Lot in West Roxbury

  Before the blizzard hit, an auto theft struck, stealing an F-350 Ford truck with an attached plow from the Prime Honda parking lot on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury. The facilities director of the business contacted Boston Police on Thurs., Feb. 7 around 10:28 a.m., to say that an unknown person took the truck sometime after 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 6, according to a Boston Police report.

'Apple Picking' Incidents at West Roxbury Education Complex

The following article is based on a Boston Police report.

  The term is "apple picking" - when an iPhone gets stolen, and phone thefts are happening so much it's raised crime statistics.  A Boston Police detective was investigating a separate robbery incident at the West Roxbury Education Complex on Feb. 2 around 11 a.m., when another robbery victim, a student, spoke with him about being "apple picked" the previous day.  The student said he was in a classroom speaking with a teacher, and left his iPhone on his desk, which was stolen, according to a Boston Police report. The victim said two female students were in the classroom and left immediately prior to the victim's meeting with the teacher ended. The victim told police that one of his friends also had a phone stolen from him that same day. …

West Roxbury Man Charged with Masturbating in Front of Victim's House, Violating Harassment Order

  A West Roxbury man was arrested for allegedly masturbating in front of a neighbor's apartment on Carol Circle. On Feb. 1 around 11:09 p.m., Robert F. Pohl Jr., of 9 Carol Circle B5, West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, and for committing a sexual act which involved touching his genitals for sexual gratification of himself. The suspect was also placed in custody for violation of a harassment prevention order.  Robert Pohl was previously arrested for urinating in front of a neighbor's apartment on Sept. 9, 2012.
