Fabutique Finishes Second in Citywide Deck the Windows Contest

It was a close contest, but West Roxbury's Fabutique came up short in the end to Dorchester’s Back to Life Chiropractic & Wellness.

    West Roxbury's Fabutique narrowly came in second place in Boston's Deck the Windows contest.  For 2012, bragging rights for the best business holiday window goes to Dorchester’s Back to Life Chiropractic & Wellness. Allston’s Stingray came in third.  This is the third year of the storefront decorating competition that features 20 Boston Main Streets districts and had more than 400 small businesses competing. The three-week-long contest began on November 20, and there was more than 4000 online votes to determine the winner.  But the holiday fun isn't stopping at Fabutique, it's about shopping at Fabutique. Fabutique's owner Marika Gaurenszky is hosting a “Guy's Stress Free Shopping Event” on Sat., Dec. 22 from 3-5 p.m. This event will …

Voting Ends at Noon to Choose Fabutique in Boston's Deck the Windows Contest

Vote for West Roxbury's Fabutique, which was in second place as of Monday night.

  Fabutique needs your help! Voting in the citywide Deck the Windows contest ends today at noon and the West Roxbury boutique is in second place. Vote for Fabutique here! The Deck the Windows contest is a friendly competition for businesses to show off their creativity while promoting Boston Main Streets business districts by decorating their storefronts for the holidays. As of 7:10 p.m. on Monday night, 3,359 votes had been cast and Back to Life Chiropractic & Wellness of the St. Mark’s Area Main Street area was in first plac with 957 votes. Fabutique was close behind with 907 votes.  Voting ends at noon today. So what are you waiting for - click on the link and vote for Fabutique?!

Can West Roxbury's Top It Off Repeat in Boston's Deck the Windows Contest?

West Roxbury's Top It Off won last year! If you own a business or home in Boston, you could be this year's winner of a citywide holiday decoration contest.

  Do you go all out at your home or business to get in the holiday spirit? If you have the best display in Boston in one of several categories, you could be one of this year's winners of the Boston Deck the City contests.  And last year's business window winner, Top It Off, hails from West Roxbury!
