Lord Mayor Richie Gormley and the nine other nominees for the unofficial mayor of West Roxbury position, were honored with a parade and a party by Patch.com on Friday night.
Lord Mayor Richie Gormley stepped out from his funeral home wearing former Boston Mayor James Michael Curley's tophat and proceeded to lead his inauguration parade. Residents young and old lined Centre Street as the parade walked past the Corrib Pub, and then up to the Irish Social Club for the party. Were you there? Did you take video?
