Jeanine Budd, Neighbor

Jeanine grew up in Bellingham, Washington, where she got her journalistic start with a sports writing internship for Washington Youth Rugby in 2006.

She then moved to Pittsburgh, Pa, where she attended Point Park University and wrote occasional stories for the Point Park Globe. A year later, in 2007, she resettled in Boston to finish her journalism degree at Northeastern University. While at Northeastern, she was a writer and editor at the Huntington News and on the school’s radio station, WRBB 104.9. 

She currently lives in Jamaica Plain and works as the Trade Books Manager at the MIT Coop in Kendall Sq.  She also has a radio show called “Maintenance Issues” on WRBB every Friday morning.
