We also reported on the Scott Brown endorsements. Here is that article. On balance, I'd say we try to keep it as balanced as a Blue State can be. http://charlestown.patch.com/articles/scott-brown-picks-up-endorsement-from-former-mass-gov-weld-be4da5b4

Hi everyone,
This story's been live for nearly a week, so everyone's had ample time to be heard. Unfortunately, we've been getting an increasing number of posts that are offensive or otherwise violate our terms of service. Because of that, we're gonna shut down the comment thread on this story.
This is obviously a contentious issue, and most folks have acted with restraint even while posing tough questions. Thank you for participating in this conversation and thank you for reading the Charlestown Patch.

ReplyMy apologies on the use of "infamous." Wrong word choice. As far as their reputation, it is well known around Boston.

Jay, I live in Southie but I have already grown pretty fond of Charlestown with what little exposure I have had previously. My mission is to explore it further and get to know people in the community. If you see a short guy asking questions, it just might be me.

Thanks for your concern. But the two defendants are being tried in open court, which means their names are public. The defendants are now vulnerable to adult incarceration in a house of correction or state prison should they be convicted.
