Hello, West Roxbury!

I am your new editor for West Roxbury Patch. I am excited to be here and hope to build on the incredible momentum West Roxbury Patch has going for it, as a strong community force.

Who am I? My name is Tony Catinella and I grew up in nearby Milton and have been living in Canton since February.

I have been working for Patch since 2011 and have launched two successful sites: the Hingham Patch (in March 2011) and the Weymouth Patch (in Sept. 2012).  I have also managed the Canton Patch site.

Before joining Patch, I covered sports for the Canton Citizen Newspaper and general news assignments for The Patriot Ledger.

When I'm not reporting, I love watching sports and going for a relaxing run. I ran last years' Boston Marathon and hope to do it again this year.

I am also very excited about learning more about West Roxbury by covering every aspect of news for your town.  I have already paid a visit to a few businesses on Spring Street and Centre Street and everyone I have met has been so friendly.

I am honored to be your new editor, and I'm here for you!

Please contact me anytime or stop and say hello as I will be working many afternoons out of the Starbucks on Centre Street or at the library or maybe out of the new pizza shop, The Parlour, because I just found out it has WiFi too,
