West Roxbury Owner Says New Apartment Complex is a Success
New West Roxbury Luxury Apartments Quickly Reach Full Residency.
Belgrade Place opened just a year ago, but the new West Roxbury apartment building has already reached full residency.
The new 39-unit apartment complex on Belgrade Avenue offers two-levels of underground parking, security cameras, storage units in the parking area and 1-3 bedroom and studio living areas. The units each have laundry rooms, walk-in closets and spacious bedrooms.
Owner Michael Barsamian said he opened the apartments in West Roxbury because there is a “need for rental.”

Barsamian said he had the land for about a dozen years and when he finally got it permitted, he knew he needed to build a living area.
“People love it, most people extended their lease and it also helps the restaurant community,” Barsamian said. “It’s been a success.”

The complex is right across from the popular restaurant West On Centre and although the restaurant does not deliver, they make special exceptions for their neighboring residents.
Barsamian has also owned the Lord's & Lady's Hair Salon on Belgrade Avenue for 43 years.
